Movie
This series of short films was completed in the Spring of 2005 by the
advanced animation class at San Jose State. It
won first place in the Animation category of the Radio Alice 3-Minute
Film Festival 2005.

Fumi and the Bad Luck Foot was awarded Best of Show, placing among
animation legends Bill Plympton and Igor Kovalyov!
Stoopid Movie!!!, created in the Spring 2005 Advanced Animation class,
takes 3rd place in the Independent Films category.

"Neighborhood Roots" a Finalist at Adobe Design Achievement Awards

SJSU animation department short film "Neighborhood Roots" has been selected as a finalist in the Animation category of the 2005 Adobe Design Achievement Awards. Student representatives will attend the 2005 Adobe Design Achievement Awards Event held July 21st at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City, at which winner rankings will be announced.
"Neighborhood Roots" has also been awarded BEST COLLEGE ANIMATION from the 2005 International Student Film Festival in Santa Barbara, California.

"Neighborhood Roots" has also recently screened at the Kalamazoo Animation Festival International as well as the Ohlone College Film, Video, and Multimedia Festival, both in May of 2005.

Stoopid Movie has won first place
in the Animation category of the Radio Alice 3-Minute Film Festival 2005! Cole Higgins and
Hee-Young Son accepted the prize of $3,000 on behalf of David Chai.
