Figure Drawing
The Shrunkenheadman Club regularly offers weekly figure drawing sessions with a live nude model so students can hone their artistic skills on the cheap. Poses throughout the session range from 1 to 20 minutes with a 5 minute break in between each set of poses. Students are allowed to bring and use any media they desire to draw the model. The Figure Model Coordinator also provides paper pads as well as different types of drawing media that are available for students to use during each session. The model for each figure drawing session will also differ between each session and will range in age and gender, with some models bringing props and special costumes for their poses.
Info for the current semester
For the Spring 2020 Semester, Figure Drawing will be offered:
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:15pm-9:15pm in ART 314
Attendance will be $4.00. It’s encouraged that you brings five bucks cash, so you can donate the extra dollar to the model.
If you are under the age of 18, you are allowed to attend if you get the O.K. from Program Coordinator David Chai at david.chai@sjsu.edu
